  • After that click on Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open the task manager

  • Now, choose all the QuickBooks processes and click on end task option
  • The last step is to switch to multi-user mode to open the file.

  • Locate the folder in which the company file is kept.
  • Search files with extensions ,.ND or.TLG
  • Name each file and add Old to the end.
  • First, open “No Company Open”
  • Select To Open a Sample.
  • Choose a file from the company sample files.
  • Locate the folder in which the company file is kept.
  • Search for .QBW
  • Copy the file, and then paste it onto your Desktop.
  • To open QB, press and hold Control keys. No Company The window will be opened.
  • Select Restore or open a new company.
  • Copy the file to the desktop.
  • Open the Company File >> File >> Utilities.
  • Click on to “Stop Hosting Multi User Access”
  • If a message prompts ‘Company file must close’, click “Yes”.
  • Navigate to your company file.
  • Copy the path address at the top of the file and then restore it.
  • Open the Company File >> File >> Utilities.
  • Click on to “Stop Hosting Multi User Access”
  • If a message prompts to close the company file, click “Yes”.
  • Navigate to your company file.
