Manually configure IMAP connection

  • Open Settings on your device
  • Select “Add account”
  • In that window, you need to fill in your email address and password for your AOL account.
  • Press “login”
  • Go to the settings again.
  • Go to the panel “Mail server input or output”
  • Reset the incoming configurations same as the configurations mentioned below.

Incoming account type: IMAP

Incoming mail server: imap.aol.com

Incoming user name: Name displayed to the recipients

Received email address: AOL email account user’s the email address

Inbox Password: User’s AOL email account password

Entry door number: 993 

  • Then reset the outgoing configuration like the following

Outgoing mail server: smtp.aol.com

Outgoing email address: AOL email account user’s email address (user@aol.com)

Outgoing password: User’s AOL email account password

Outgoing port number: 587

  • Finally, press “Save Changes”
