Jhansi Fort, Uttar Pradesh
Also known as Jhansi ka Qila, this imposing fort is situated on top of a hill called Bangira. This is the fort where the valorous queen Rani Lakshmi Bhai lived after the death of Maharaja Gangadhar Rao. Her residence, Rani Mahal, has been converted into a museum displaying amazing sculptures and other artifacts.
